In the exhibition “The Anderson Family”--Jarrod, Sörine, Marilyn, Mark—will display each of their personal processes of making art. Jarrod Anderson is exhibiting observational pencil drawings on prepared paper, while Sörine Anderson will be showing acrylic paintings on aluminum and brass, as well as a mixed media installation. Marilyn Anderson will be exhibiting ostrich eggs created with the pysanky process and Mark Anderson will present his continuing series of bronze faces titled “Contact of Two Skins.” Mark Anderson is the interim head of Fine Arts at the Ringling School of Art and Design, while he and Marilyn’s son, Jarrod, graduated from Ringling in 2003 and their daughter Sörine is due to graduate from Ringling this spring.
