Gallery 5: In the exhibition “Water,” Jean Blackburn will exhibit her most recent paintings. Blackburn’s work reflects the multiple dimensions that exist not only along the top of the water but between the processes of painting and photography. Blackburn is a Florida native and local artist whose work has been situated around the Myakka River and the beauty found in our natural surroundings. Her work was recently exhibited at the South Florida Museum and can be found in both local and national collections.
